Tim Britton is  a Custom Knifemaker and longstanding Knifemakers' Guild member, long known for his high quality designs, formerly  available only to serious collectors. Tim is now at Linville Knife and Tool and offers some of their kits and blades to the general public.  Very high quality for the price, I really think you'll like this series as much as I do.

Handy
Designed by Dick Atkinson, this designs name describes it perfectly. Perfect functional blade in an easy to carry size makes this perfect for backpacking, hiking, camping and everyday use. The center cut out in the handle reduces weight even further.  6 1/2" overall with a 2 1/2" blade, 7/32" thick. Mirror polished AUS-8 steel. Use 1/8" pins. Thong hole if 3/16".

 CEO
The CEO is a  new  folder design from Tim Britton of Linville Knife and tool. A great companion to the popular Day-Ops and Night-Ops. Who says a hard working folding knife can't be dressy?  8" overall with a 3/12" blade made from AUS-8, tempered to an RC58 hardness. T6 aircraft aluminum frame, the lacquered scales can be assembled  as received or used as  a pattern for your own decorative wood scales. This is the first time I've seen Tim use a thumb disk on the spine for easy, one handed , left or right hand opening.  Assembly is easy, but set aside a full night for this. You'll need T6 and T8 Torx screwdrivers. Click HERE for a picture of the backside pocket clip .

Day-Ops
What a discovery! The Day-Ops is from a new line of quality kits by Linville Knife and Tool, under the supervision of Tim Britton, noted knifemaker and Knifemaker Guild member. Looking like so many of the high tech knives out today  that seem to all have "Ops" in their name , this is a little more of an everyday carry size. Hence the name Day-Ops. Extremely well made, high quality and easy to assemble. The blade is a nice piece of AUS-8 steel ( they could have used a lot cheaper steels!) nicely ground. A few minutes of work will give you a knife worth three times what you just paid. 7 1/4" overall length with a 3" blade. Very commonsense size. Just cries out for customization! Comes with G10 scales that look great by themselves, or can be used as a pattern for some of those fancy woods you have laying around.

Night-Ops
Sister knife to the Day-Ops.  Another hard working beauty from Tim Britton from Linville Knife and Tools,  this high tech beauty is a slightly dressier version  ( in my mind anyway) of the Day-Ops. An   everyday-carry sized liner lock blade great for stepping out on the town. Just like the Day-Ops, extremely well made, high quality and easy to assemble. AUS-8 steel blade. 7 1/4" overall length with a 3" blade. Just cries out for customization! Comes with G10 scales that look great by themselves, or can be used as a pattern for some of those fancy woods you have laying around. Night Ops larger picture, Click Here

Mingo
Tim Britton from Linville Knife and Tool does it again with the everyday-carry sized liner lock blade. Slim, light, extremely well engineered  and beautiful, this kit includes all hardware and a set of CNC precision machined G10 scales.  420SS frame and bolsters; AUS-8 blade rockwell hardness RC58; torx screws throughout; 1/4" 304SS pivot pin;  3 1/4" closed, 5 1/2" open. I think the G10 looks great but if you prefer, you could use these as a pattern for your own fancy wood scales.  For a larger picture, click HERE
